Today we hopped on a cable car that lifted us 2,309 feet to the top of Table Mountain. The floor rotated 360 degrees the entire way up.

Once safely on non-rotating ground, we took in every view imaginable of Cape Town, the Cape Peninsula and Cape Point. The views were the opposite of atrocious. 

Today we declared South African Treat-Yo-Self Day to celebrate all of our not dying yesterday.

We drove to the wine country, stopping in Stellenbosch and Franschhoek to sample a hearty amount of South African wines, cheeses and chocolates.

If we didn't have three months to go, our bags would be full of 2014 Mouvedre and 2012 Caldera.
