Today Burke got a haircut from The Famous Hair Dresser Barber Shop.

Today we drove up and up and up to the village of Sarangkot. If you want to see a gorgeous sunrise over the Himalayas and the Pokhara valley below, this is the place. We were told we might not see anything due to the clouds. This was true for about an hour, but after patiently waiting, praying and crossing fingers the skies slowly opened up. And what you see is what we got.

Today we hiked up and up and up to The World Peace Pagoda. This is a Japanese Buddhist temple that overlooks the town of Pokhara and is known for it’s Himalayan views. The clouds were not our friends this day, though we were able to catch small glimpses of the snow-capped mountains and one peaceful Buddha to boot.
