Tonight we were reminded that love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud and sometimes it stands outside of a mall sharing a veil. 

This evening we wandered the streets of Hanoi seeing the things you see here.

Today we drank egg coffee at the mother of all egg coffee shops, Giang Cafe. Here they will serve you a magical concoction of coffee, sugar, egg and condensed milk.

Our plans to recreate this at home were foiled after asking the quiet, older Vietnamese man behind the counter how they make it. He just stared at us coldly and yelled, “NO!”
