Today we met a friendly sea turtle. We named him Herbert.

Today we caught a fast boat to the Gili Trawangan, the largest of the three Gili Islands. Motorized traffic is prohibited on the islands, so horse-drawn cart to our hotel it was. 

We wasted no time checking in, then it was on to sea, pool and sunset.

Tonight we took in "The Spirit of Bali," a traditional Balinese music and dance performance by the renowned ensemble, Gamelan Semara Ratih. There was action, drama, suspense, love and one really big lion-tiger-dragon-hairy-thing.
