WHO WE ARE
We are Burke and April Lauderdale, two art directors hailing from South Carolina and Texas respectively.
Met 2005. Welcomed Winston, the labradoodle 2008. Married 2011.
Lived and worked in Austin, Boston, New York City and Raleigh/Durham before turning a pipe dream into two one way plane tickets to Uganda, Africa.
In June 2015 we piled our belongings into a 16 ft. storage container, gorged on queso, said goodbye to creature comforts, packed two bags each and embarked on an around the world journey.
