This afternoon we were greeted in Singapore by Wei, an old friend from NY who now lives back in his home country. He took us on a fantastic food tour, showing us the ropes of Singapore cuisine.

First things first, we headed to Ah Chew Desserts and downed some watermelon sago and mangoes on ice with ice cream. Next we went for dinner at Sin Heng Claypot Bak Koot Teh. Here is where we had our first pork rib claypot rice alongside veggies and a savory omelet. Two thumbs up, and already thinking of where to eat tomorrow.
